The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeanne Bradfield can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Sue Spillane-Bramlette
Condolence: Dearest Cousins, Thinking of you tonight as, is possible, the Irish wake begins for your dear Mother. I have only now seen her face for the first time, except at age seven, when I remember all of you so full of fun, and Turkey, and happiness, on a 1960 Thanksgiving Day in (Malvern/Lower Merion?), PA.Certainly the revelation of a strange contraption that you put all the dishes in and it washed them white as snow was an exceptional curiosity to me!I will say that Jeanne Therese bears a clear resemblance to us all and I'm deeply saddened never to have met her, or you all, following that one brief holiday. My sister Therese wrote today that she never knew she was her namesake.

Nevertheless, my father, Buck,William Daniel, told many, many stories to us four girls about his Mother, Mary, at Bryn Mawr College and her tragic passing at his age 16, summers on Lake Louise, NY, the Teri-Bill-Tim boat, and his pride in his sister for having been a mathematician who was part of the early invention of computer technology in its infancy (when an IBM machine took up a full city block in size to do its/her type of computations.)I suppose none of us may know what transpired between them to create the awful cutoff... Our grandfather, Timothy, is sadly also unknown to us, though we imagine that Philadelphia bridge engineer in our minds with much pride and love.

I did send a letter to your Mother in 1980; she replied, but I think cousin Michael's death occurred sometime in that time frame, and that ended a brief correspondence, sadly.

May God bless you all, dear cousins! And your twenty-eight dear children! With you in spirit, entirely,

Susan Joy Spillane-Bramlette, Austin, Texas
