The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Martel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Louis Strano
Condolence: It has been awhile to find the words when you lose a friend like Bob. Bob was my brother=in-law. y sister, Barb, met him a couple of years ago. When I first met Bob, I could tell he was a great guy just the way he treated my sister. They were so in love like a couple of teenagers. As I got to know Bob better, I found a man who was a real gentleman. He was kind, smart, compassionate, down to earth and funny. We laughed alot. I believe people are put into your life for a teason and I feel I am a better person for knowing Bob. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace, brother,Bob. Love, Lou

Condolence From: Rev. Scott
Condolence: It is with a heavy heart that I share my condolences on the passing of such a wonderful man, Robert Martel. Although I have only known Bob for a short time, he always had a smile on his face, and always was laughing with and joking with his wife Barbara. It brought joy to my heart when I would hear Bob speak of all of his love for Barbara, and how happy they were together. Even in his final days at the hospital, he was trying to crack jokes to get Barbara to laugh and not worry. It was clear to see that this was truly a man that cared so much for the people that he loved, and the people that meant so much to him. To his family, his children, and his wife Barbara, I pray that your hearts will find peace that he is now in the hands of the Lord. May your minds be full of all of the wonderful memories that you created with him, and may your hearts always carry the great abundance of love that he carried in his heart. His loving spirit will be with you always. With my love and deepest sympathy, Rev. Scott.

Condolence: I only knew Bob for a short time. Sometimes you meet someone you hope you will know forever. Bob was one of those people. His kindness, generosity, great humor and zest for life were the essence of his personality. He will be sorely missed by many. I know God has a purpose for Bob in Heaven as He had a purpose for Bob while he was living. I believe His ultimate purpose was to put Bob and Barbara Jean together as soul mates. A love so strong is a rare and beautiful gift they gave to one another. The happiness they shared will always be alive in Barb's heart. Love never dies.

Condolence: To Bob's children, sister, and family. Bob was a wonderful person and favorite cousin. I loved him dearly as you all did. Lets keep his memory as we knew him with all our love. RIP If our love and tears could bring you back it would be wonderful but we will have to live with our memories. Say hello to Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill and Richard.

Condolence: To Bob's girls, my heart goes out to you. I can't help but think of the conversations Bob and I had over the past several years and how they suddenly stopped. Each time we talked he would just go on and on about his girls and his grandchildren. He was so happy to get boys along with his sweet granddaughter. You girls were his life and his biggest accomplishment! Please hold the memories close. God bless you girls and your moms during this time. God bless all that we're lucky enough to have Bob pass through their lives , we are forever better to have known him💔❤️
